The Pollution

In July 2008, SOS Metals Island Recycling was given the final go ahead to clean up Hana Landfill. For the past twelve years, miscellaneous scrap metal, derelict vehicles, broken appliances, used propane tanks, old batteries, and worn tires had been stockpiled at the landfill.
